Process

A clear path through the work.

Discovery and scope

A discovery call about your project and finishes, then a visit to the home where Kyle takes a floor plan and photos and talks through a realistic range.

A plan you can see

A proposal, with design first where layout or cabinets drive the cost: renderings, layouts, and selections made electronically.

Prepare for construction

Materials ordered, then a prestart walkthrough with Kyle and your project manager, where you sign off on the scope.

Build and walkthrough

Your project manager is your contact during construction; a final walkthrough reviews the agreed scope and you sign off again.

Plans

Bring the ideas into view.

Dimensioned cabinet layout drawing (a plan, not a photo) showing two cabinet arrangements with measurements

Plan: Pending: layout, selections, and scope

Built-in cabinet and counter area with light cabinets, a wood countertop, under-cabinet lighting, and brass pulls

Result: Pending: daily use and finished details

Seeing the plan, whether a floor plan, a rendering, or a cabinet layout, helps everyone understand the choices before construction starts.

Decisions

Keep decisions connected.

Proposals and selections

Proposals, selections, and documented choices live in JobTread, so decisions stay in one place.

After you approve a proposal, a welcome letter explains the client portal, how to use it, and where the short training videos are.

Your project contact

Before construction, Kyle and your project manager walk the project with you. From there, the project manager is your day-to-day contact.

The welcome letter covers how we communicate, how payments work, and what to expect during construction.

Existing conditions

Plan for the conditions of the home.

Investigation and approvals

Older homes and structural changes can call for specialists, engineering, or permits. We identify what needs a closer look before committing to a plan.

Scope, cost and timing

When previously concealed conditions affect the plan, we explain the change, the options, and who decides what, before the work continues.

Questions

Questions before you start.

What should I bring to the first conversation?

Your ideas, must-haves, a few photos, and a clear description of what is not working.

When does design happen?

It depends on the project. Where layout or selections drive the cost, design comes before a responsible bid. Smaller, well-defined projects can move straight to a proposal.

Who will I work with?

Kyle leads discovery and planning. A project manager becomes your contact once construction is scheduled.

What happens at the final walkthrough?

We review the agreed scope together and document completion or any remaining items.
